Product Introduction

Non-metallic (rubber) hoses carry hydraulic oil in closed circuits, and also water, acids, bases and petroleum products in industry. A hose is built from three layers: an inner tube compatible with the fluid, a reinforcement (one to six steel-wire plies or one to two textile-braid plies) that carries the pressure, and a protective cover. The company catalog covers ten ASA hydraulic series from dash −3 (3/16 in) to dash −64 (4 in) and up to 50 MPa (500 bar) working pressure; dimensions, pressure, bend radius and weight of every part number are tabulated. It also explains end-fitting attachment, crimping, cut length, storage and safety.
